As we wrap up and reflect on the quarter I think it’s important to share what 12 weeks of consistent action actually looks like. When people ask what accountability coaching actually does, we point to moments like these.

Patrice came into our program with a clear intention: start the year strong. To her that meant dialing in her core business practices: regular weekly client outreach, one to two face-to-face client meetings each week, and attending at least one monthly event. On the personal side, she committed to building a foundation of strength and movement. Straightforward goals. The kind that are easy to set and hard to sustain without structure.

Here’s what she said about the process:

“Prior to starting accountability coaching, I had a two page to-do list, I wasn’t prioritizing the most important activities and I was not focused on the activities that would actually make a difference.”

Sound familiar? For most of us, the problem isn’t effort. It’s focus. Patrice had tried habit trackers, mastermind groups, business coaches, books. None of it stuck.

The shift happened when her approach changed:

“It was like a lightbulb was turned on. I immediately discarded my two page to-do list and started thinking about the few activities that will actually move my business and personal goals forward. The weekly focus on this approach, and having such consistency, changed everything.”

Notice it wasn’t about adding more. It was the focusing on a few activities that moved her business and personal goals forward every single week

Rob came in with a different set of priorities: hiring and onboarding, automating his systems, and getting greater financial clarity in his business. The kind of work that is easy to defer when the day gets busy. After 12 weeks, here’s what he had to say:

“It feels like I’m making significantly more progress on goals and building the company each week, despite a lot of industry change. Our production is very high and I’m working fewer hours. I’m exceptionally glad I joined your process.”

More progress. Fewer hours. That is not magic. That is what happens when you get clear on priorities and have a structure in place that protects them.

Your Q1 Reflection

Whether you’re in our program or just following along, this is a valuable week to assess how your quarter went. Here are three ways to close out your quarter with intention:

  1. Review Your Goals If you set quarterly goals, how did they go? If you’re working toward a one-year goal, where are you now versus where you thought you’d be at this point? Knowing what you know now, is there anything you would do differently?
  2. Assess Alignment Are your goals actually getting you to where you want to go? Goal setting involves a fair amount of approximation. Your goals are often a best guess at something larger you’re trying to accomplish. Did you set the right goals for the outcomes you want? If not, how would you adjust them going into Q2?
  3. Reflect and Rest How will you mark this quarter’s progress? And how will you rest and recharge before Q2 begins? At AW we spend our final weekly call reflecting on the quarter as a whole and then we rest. It gives us the opportunity to sit with what we learned, reflect on what we are grateful for, and return for the next quarter with renewed energy and perspective.

Congratulations to everyone who showed up this quarter. Your work matters.

If you’re getting a lot done but not the right things, that’s exactly what we help with. Let’s talk.
