Our Story

How we got started

We’ve been helping individuals, leaders and companies since 2012. The Accountability Works® Program was developed as a way for independent contractors inside of an organization to maximize the resources they were given while reaching their individual goals. In no time it was evident that the people in the program were outperforming those that were not participating.

Why? Because they were trying new things, getting feedback, reflecting on what was working and not working, thereby iterating faster, all while prioritizing their overall well-being.

Evolved into an online, 100% remote team

Accountability Works® has evolved into an online company that serves individuals as well as organizations. As a 100% remote team, we were early adopters of Zoom. Working virtually allows us to work globally. Currently, our clients are in Asia, Europe, Mexico and the US – from Hawaii to New York. We attract a wide range of professionals and work in multiple time zones.

Developed our own App

In 2017, the Accountability Works® App was developed to track, measure, and connect users to their coach, goals and weekly commitments. Not only does it keep users organized and able to access their goals at any time, the design and function serves to enhance focus without being intrusive.

One important feature is the cumulative completion rate, which gives real-time feedback regarding what users completed each week and provides additional accountability between their coaching calls.

Accountability as an Act of Mindfulness

We’ve learned that clear and defined goals with mindful weekly actions, reinforced by accountability and feedback, is the fastest way to achieve results. Each of our coaches is certified in our signature process, trained in helping clients drill down to their most important goals, and equipped to create strategies for accomplishing them.
